Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with project requirements/construction schedule
Liaise with design consultants on the design intent
Coordinate with in-house architectural & structural team to minimize discrepancies
Check and prepare material sample with shop drawing submission
Chair M&E coordination meeting
Prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance
Assess, prepare and submit progress claims for project consultants & subcontractors
Coordinate and assist site superintendent on installation and maintenance of site temporary utilities services
Adherence to safety practices in the workplace

Able to design and build to meet employer and authority requirement
Understand BIM for design coordination
Understand and participate in the implementation of Virtual Design Construction (VDC) concept

Job Requirements

Preferably with a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Mechanical & Electrical services from A1 main contractor
Candidate with PPVC construction and condo residential building experience is most preferred
Good written and spoken English
Exhibit good character of strength, willing to learn and resourceful
Good stakeholder engagement and management skills
Good organizational, administrative and time management skills
Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast and dynamic work environment
