Job Description
Responsibilities
Lead/Develop Equipment Layout and Piping Arrangement for tendering and project execution
Lead engineers and drafters to optimize and generate Plant Layout and Piping arrangement on time
Lead/Develop 2D and 3D model for MEP, engaging Revit and/or AutoCAD
Lead/Develop/Coordinate BIM model, engaging Revit
Lead/Develop PFD and P&ID generation with minimum input from Process Engineering
Develop/Mange project piping specifications
Take ownership on developing BOQ for pipe, fitting and valves
Manage and check technical information of external suppliers of equipment and systems and coordinate/cooperate with engineers from other trades in the organization
Check drawings/documents and material list and ensure that they conform to contractual technical specifications, installation control documents and Statutory Rules/Regulations
Point of contact with contractor to provide design and engineering solutions onsite
Participate in tests and trials, where required
Requirements
At least 10 years as Mechanical Component Engineer and Piping Engineer in EPC project for Power, Petrochemical, Water and/or Waste-to-Energy plants
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent
Good knowledge of international design codes, e.g., EN, ISO, ASME and etc
Strong EPC background
In depth experience and competency with utilizing Autodesk Revit modelling and AutoCAD software as well as some knowledge of BIM Administrator
Ability to lead and guide engineers and drafters
Open minded and able to adopt different ideas for implementations
Team player
