Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM) with a strong focus on Autodesk Navisworks and Tekla Structures. The BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating 3D models that are essential for the planning, design, construction, and operation of various projects. This role would be a start with a fixed term contract with possibility of conversion.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage 3D BIM models using Autodesk Navisworks and Tekla Structures
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of BIM models
Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts
Generate construction documents from BIM models
Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate their models
Review and verify model integrity, accuracy, and compliance
Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide technical support
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and best practices
Assist in the development and implementation of BIM workflows and standards
Relevant Experience & Qualifications:

Degree in Architecture or equivalent from any recognised tertiary institution preferred
Minimum 1 to 3 years relevant working experience in building construction (Architecture)
Proven experience as BIM Modeller with expertise in Autodesk Navisworks and Tekla Structures
Strong understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and best practices
Proficiency in using Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and model review
Experience in creating and managing complex structural models using Tekla Structures
Familiarity with other BIM software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Dynamo is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes

Preferred Knowledge:

Construction sequencing and 4D/5D BIM
Experience laser scanning and point cloud data integration
Proficiency in CP83 Local CAD Standard, Drawings documentation, 2D CAD Drafting, 3D BIM Modelling, AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP, Tekla Structure, MicroStation,
