Job Description

Responsibilities:

Oversee a team of BIM Engineers and BIM Modellers for projects with varied deliverables
Check the quality and accuracy of BIM models & asset information, ensuring they are in accordance with Gammon BIM standards and the required level of details
Perform constructability reviews in 2D & 3D formats, including logistics planning, 4D simulation, 5D cost, and virtual digital mock-ups for visualization
Liaise closely and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, project operation team, subcontractors and relevant statutory bodies
Work closely with the site operation team to conduct BIM technology deployment to meet contract requirements and client’s expectation
Upskill BIM capabilities for the operations team
Support the company’s BIM roadmap & strategy and ensure its implementation
Develop innovation within the department, explore new software and expand the use of BIM within the company
Familiar with the concept of BIM-led Design

Requirements:

Degree in Architecture / Civil Engineering or equivalent
At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry
BIM related specialist diploma from BCA Academy or equivalent is a must
Complete at least one 3D BIM project, including configuration, setup and management, as well as handover of as-built model
Strong BIM technical background and interest, desire or knowledge of BIM processes and software, including operational coding structure for BIM object
Familiar with the latest versions of Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Dynamo and other software applications
Experience in managing key projects, including the management of multi-disciplinary project teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
