Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor consultant’s design progress as per submission/ detail design schedule agreed. Study consultants’ design drawings and highlight the missing information, design clashes, and design inconveniences for construction.
Manage the project’s design coordination works. Liaise with Clients, Consultants, and Subcontractors to ensure the smooth progress of the coordination. Ensure the information between different disciplines is communicated and discussed among the team.
Manage the project’s drawing coordination between disciplines and sub-contractors drawings
Manage the project’s drawing schedule, to ensure the timely issuance of drawings for construction
Work with BIM modeler/drafter on shop drawings preparation, to capture all detail dimensions and settings. Must be able to convey technical information to BIM modeler/ drafter via sketches. Must be able to study and understand technical drawings independently without the drafter’s assistance. Must be able to identify the critical technical information/sections that need to be generated for construction usage and technical resolution
Work with the construction team and sub-cons to prepare and submit for approval the construct i) material submission, ii) material specification submission, iii) method statement, and iv) specialist trade sub-con shop drawings
Address and resolve technical issues raised by the construction and consultant’s teams, through clear communication and good documentation.

use AutoCAD to superimpose all service drawings into structure / archi drawings and identify all the clashes
Lead sub-con performs T&C for all the systems installed
conduct weekly technical meetings with Subcon and consultant to close all the technical issues.

Requirement:

Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural discipline
At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Experience in residential projects will be advantageous
