Job Description

Responsibilities

Oversee the planning and execution of mechanical and electrical (M&E)  activities during construction project.
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards  for M&E systems.
Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop detailed M&E plans and specifications.
Manage and supervise M&E subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality workmanship and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Monitor progress and performance of M&E works, identifying any  deviations or issues and implementing corrective measures as required.
Collaborate with project managers and other relevant departments to  develop project schedules and budgets for M&E works.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure M&E installations are in accordance with design specifications and project requirements.
Review and approve M&E shop drawings, technical submittals, and material selections.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on M&E matters, resolving any technical issues that may arise during construction.
Coordinate with utility providers and local authorities to obtain necessary  permits and approvals for M&E installations.
