BIM MANAGER – (MRT Project)

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Leading BIM team including Bim coordinators and Bim modelers to deliver the work on time and with high standards
Working closely with the project team in coordinating and producing shop drawings and documentation using BIM Technologies
Establish BIM implementation plan, process, and workflow to ensure that BIM data meets the project requirements for the construction projects
Strategic planning for BIM execution in infrastructure projects or building projects
Developing a training program for BIM Coordinators and BIM modelers to improve the use of BIM authoring tools
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

Coordinate/manager BIM execution across project including internal and external parties and local and international BIM team
Develop and implement BIM Execution Plan and follow up with continuous improvement
Develop and implement quality assurance plan and control system for BIM
Establish protocols for model management
Maintain a BIM data archive and ensure a quality assurance plan for the Models
Lead in BIM implementation including modelling workflow, BIM use, methodologies and standards
Review of BIM project models, workflow, and methodologies
Manage processes, implementation, best practices and techniques of BIM and related tools.
Ensure timely delivery and maintain consistencies of project deliverable
Manage process of exchange and coordination of BIM model with all project stakeholders.
Monitor the progress of design to ensure it is according to planned schedule.
Participate and support project in external meeting.
Routinely run information system scans to maintain model data security
Collect incoming models, coordinate submission and exchange of BIM models.
