Job Description

Scope:

Provide supervision services for all geotechnical works to ensure that contractors complies with contract/authorities’/agencies’ requirements
Oversee the geotechnical team and personnel
Review all drawings and specifications and highlight any discrepancies, non-workable and/or missing details to OIC and the QP(D)s and QP(S)
Review and comment on all construction method statements, risk assessmentsfor works, workplans, design for safety (DfS) workshop and SOP proposals
Provide all relevant endorsements required by authorities/agencies/client
Assist QPD for application of TOP and CSC
Prepare site supervision plan and supervise all works directed by OIC
Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion and prepare necessary site progress and status report for update to client
Adhere to regulations and requirements of all stakeholders for any supervision work while ensuring proper supervision
Monitor contractors’ safety performance and participate actively in site safety management
Conduct roving safety inspections, emergency & incident response and facts finding
Report any accident/incident/near miss on site
