BIM Manager

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible to:

Provide quality checks on digital deliverables, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement with Beca. drawing standards, client and regulatory requirements for both 2D and 3D deliverables.
Troubleshooting issues with models and projects.
Mentoring and support BIM team-members.
Assist job managers and directors in appropriate BIM strategies and technologies on their projects.
Planning and resourcing delivery aspects of projects.
Conduct trainings on BIM process.

Pre-Requisites

Specialist Diploma in BIM or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 6 years’ experience in BIM management, modelling and leading position in engineering consulting environment is preferred.
Familiarity with codes of practice, well-versed with the relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission (Corenet X) and approval procedures.
High level of experience in both of Revit software and the Autodesk BIM360 suite of collaboration tool systems are required. Competent user of BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Naviswork etc.
Excellent communication skills, strong ability to organize workload, and prioritization of tasks is required as you will be working with other Beca offices, both to deliver projects and develop resources.
Able to communicate well among all stakeholders.
Self-driven, highly motivated, strong leadership skills including leading the team.
